This coming Sunday from 12:30 to 3:00 we will have our third spiritual enrichment gathering. Margaret Benefiel and Susan Kaul will facilitate it. We will meet in the all-purpose room of the Groome Building (same room where we have potluck). Please bring a brown bag lunch, so that we can enjoy a meal together at 12:30. Following lunch, we will stay in the all-purpose room for our program. As we prepare ourselves for our upcoming meeting, I suggest reflecting on the thoughts shared by Amy Schmaljohn and Alan Evans prior to our last retreat: “The sages of India observed thousands of years ago that our destiny is ultimately shaped by our deepest intentions and desires. The classic Vedic text known as the Upanishads declares, “You are what your deepest desire is. As your desire is, so is your intention.” With that in mind, please allow some time to reflect on the following query: “In the coming days, how can I begin to set my intention for participation so that I can be open, attentive, aware, and receptive?”
