Quaker Meetings are open to all, Quaker and non-Quaker alike. If you would like to join us and share in our stillness, come! Our common ground is the experience of worship.

Quaker unity is based on shared understanding and a shared practice of worship, not on our beliefs all being the same. In particular, there is a great diversity within the Quakers on conceptions of God and the use of different kinds of language to describe religious experience.

At Bethesda Friends Meeting, we have a different set of queries for each month, corresponding in some instances with events or activities within the Meeting. They are based on ones developed for Baltimore Yearly Meeting’s (BYM) Faith and Practice.
