The entrance to the school and the parking lot are at the intersection of Edgemoor Lane and Beverly Road in Bethesda, MD.

Parking

SFS LOCATION: The Bethesda Friends Meetinghouse is on the campus of the Sidwell Friends Lower School. (For GPS use 5100 Edgemoor Lane.) Parking is available in the Sidwell Friends School parking lot and see other choices below.

For postal mailing, use the Bethesda Friends Meeting P.O. Box 30152, Bethesda MD 20824. Do not use the Sidwell Friends School address for postal mail.

PARKING. You can park in the Sidwell Friends Lower School (SFS) parking lot: at the corner of Edgemoor Lane and Beverly Road (for GPS use 5100 Edgemoor Lane). Additional parking at the GREEN lines and see directions below.

Additional parking is in a garage under the SFS gym (#6 -- see campus map below) - the entrance to the garage is on Beverly Rd.
There is usually parking on Saturdays and Sundays at the Bethesda Connie Morella Library (Edgemoor Lane) in the UNRESERVED spots.
Beverly Rd and parts of Hampton Lane have parking for "residents only" every day.
Looking at the map above, there is open neighborhood weekend parking on Hampton Lane past Clarendon Rd, and on perpendicular streets such as Denton Rd and Clarendon Rd. See the GREEN LINES and the street parking signs for more information.
There are paid public parking garages near the Metro station. One example is a County garage at 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda (Garage #49). Paid parking: $1.50/hour by credit card or Parkmobile app.

METRO Directions: BFM is four blocks from the Bethesda Metro Station (Red Line). Go to the top of the long escalator and walk out of the bus area. You are on Edgemoor Lane. Walk 2 blocks to the light at Arlington Road. Continue straight one block further to the Sidwell Friends Lower School entrance. The Meetinghouse is part way down the block next to the driveway.
