The American Friends Service Committee is hosting its Annual Corporation Program from Sunday, April 3, to Thursday, April 7. The theme is “Quaker Action for a Just World.” This is a a virtual gathering of Friends to discuss what we can do to build a vision of a sustainable, just, and peaceful future. We are invited to hear a panel of Quaker climate activists, workshops on key peace and justice issues, and a keynote speech from Winona LaDuke, Native American activist, economist, and author, as a part of AFSC’s annual corporation meeting.

On Sunday, April 3, at 7:00 p.m., Winona LaDuke will give the keynote address. See more information here.

On Monday, April 4, at 7:00 p.m., AFSC's Healing Justice Network will explore restorative justice, police and prison reform, and an end to the carceral system. Here is the link to join.

On Wednesday, April 6, at noon, there will be a workshop on how the rights and freedoms of those addressing climate change are shrinking. The challenges and risks facing those supporting and advancing climate justice are linked to the gap between civil society organizations and government policies on climate. This workshop will present an analysis and suggest actions to support climate justice activists as they face a limited space. See more information here.
