DC area Capital Pride: June 11 and June 12
Join Quakers from the DC area meetings to support LGBTQ+ folks in the 2022 Capital Pride events.
- Sign up to march in the Saturday, June 11th Parade (use our Contact Us form to sign up).

- Meet at Friends Meeting of Washington at 1:30 PM. At 2:15 we go to the staging area on 15th between T Street and Rhode Island (exact location forthcoming). The parade begins at 3:00. The route is 1.5 miles and takes about 30 minutes. Families and children are most welcome.
- Volunteer for a shift at the Sunday, June 12th DC area Quaker Festival booth (use our Contact Us form to sign up).

- The purpose of the booth is to showcase the inclusive Quaker community. Three people are present for 2-hour sessions to talk with folks and hand out materials. Our tent will be on Pennsylvania Ave between 7th and 3rd Streets, exact location forthcoming. Table, chairs and marketing materials are provided.
