Experiment with Light

  • December 06, 2020
  • 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • At home via email

How do we quiet our brains enough to hear the still, small voice within us?  How might we deepen our experience of meeting for worship? Experiment With Light is a meditative and centering practice based upon Rex Ambler’s book Light to Live By , which describes early Quaker meditative habits and translates them into a highly accessible process of clearness and understanding.  This is a small group practice. All are welcome to come try it out and attend as you are so moved.

Dates:  During the summer, the  group usually meets once a month (July 19 and August 16) at 7:30 p.m.  Location:   While the Meeting House is closed, the participants will begin to follow the prompts at home at 7:30. They will check in with one another by phone or e-mail at about 8:30 p.m. to share reflections, if any. For details: Jane C (see Directory).  You can get the prompts for the guided meditation at https://www.experiment-with-light.org.uk/modindos.mp3
