Comparative Religions: Exploring the Roots of Religion

Exploring the Roots of Religion meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. for a half hour lecture from The Great Courses exploring evidence of religious activity around the world, followed by a half hour discussion. In January, we will study Oracle Bones of Ancient China, Sun and Sexuality in Early Scandinavia, Apollo Speaks at Claros (Greece), Chalice of Blood in Ancient Peru, and Decoding Rituals at Poulenc (Mexico).
