On Sundays, February 4th and 11th, at 12:15 p.m., the Pastoral Care Committee (PCC) hosts Meetings for Healing. It seems that in developing the BFM minute re: An Urgent Call to Protect Human Life and Bring a Just Peace to Palestine and Israel, participants produced an amazing minute and some hurt feelings and damaged relationships. PCC will host these Meetings for Healing on most Sundays in January and into February and beyond if desired. The point is to listen deeply to one another, holding our community and each other in the Light. We will not be crafting a minute; we will be healing relationships as best we can. One way of doing so is Worship Sharing, which helps us to explore our own experience and share with each other more deeply than we would in normal conversation and offers a safe and loving environment where Friends are encouraged to give voice to their inner search. It seeks to draw us into sacred space, where we can take down our usual defenses, and encounter each other in vital ways. See your weekly Bulletin for details.
