Faith, Community & Resistance: Organizing for Democracy - 2025 and Beyond

Join us in the great work of resisting the rising tide of authoritarianism, fostering durable communities, and helping to build a stronger democracy than we had before! The day will offer multiple opportunities for spiritual grounding, community building, and skills development–all towards the end of claiming the power we DO have.

Confirmed Breakouts Include:

  • DC Deserves a Better Stadium Deal
  • Deepening Migrant Solidarity and Support
  • Seeking Voter Justice: DC Home Rule
  • Navigating Difficult Conversations
  • Free and Fair Elections
  • Neighborhood Organizing with Free DC
  • Prevention Not Punishment for Genuine Public Safety
  • Strength through Relational Organizing

This event is faith-rooted but not faith exclusive, recognizing that unprecedented challenges require unprecedented collaboration. Whoever you are, we invite you to consider coming as a team of two or more. Bring fellow congregants, activists, friends, and/or neighbors to get grounded, connected, and inspired! Co-Sponsored by All Souls Church Unitarian, Foundry United Methodist Church, UUs for Social Justice, and the Washington Interfaith Network.  Learn more here.
