Join us: To discuss a short story

A space to bring together people interested in good literature who don't have time to read long books!
There will be a Zoom meeting on October 6th at 7:00 pm to discuss House Taken Over by Julio Cortázar, published in 1946. (just five pages).
A brother and sister have their house taken over, and they resign themselves to leaving. What else could they do? Resist?
Julio Cortázar is one of the greatest South American writers, and this story, a combination of outstanding literature and a powerful theme, serves as a provocative metaphor for contemporary America. Written eighty years ago, it remains a classic among short stories.
In addition to the central theme, we could also discuss the carpentry used by the author to engage the reader, and even chat about his other works. It's an open meeting; everyone who loves literature or is interested in today's America is invited.
