Seeking a Just Peace in Israel/Palestine: Reflections on Quakers Joining the Apartheid-Free Communities Coalition: November 23

  • Steve Chase is a longtime Quaker activist, educator, and writer who serves as a co-clerk of the Friends Meeting of Washington's Peace and Social Concerns Committee, a member of BYM's Palestinian Israeli Peace and Justice Working Group, and the Outreach Coordinator of the Quaker Affinity Group of the Apartheid-Free Communities coalition.
  • He will speak with Bethesda Friends about his individual and FMW's discernment journey towards joining the Apartheid-Free Communities coalition and working for a truly just peace in Israel/Palestine.
  • Please join us after worship (about 12:30) on November 23 to hear Steve and ask questions.
  • Available both in person and by Zoom (use the same link as Meeting for Worship).
  • Besides writing Letters to a Fellow Seeker: A Short Introduction to the Quaker Way, he is the author of two Pendle Hill pamphlets. He is currently working on a new book entitled "Seeking a Just Peace in Israel/Palestine: A Discernment Guide for Quakers (and Other People of Faith)."
