Meeting for Worship + FDS + Child Care

Bethesda Friends worship together each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Please click here for details.

• Child care for children with paid providers is available at the Meetinghouse: Toddlers-Pre-K in the CC room. K-6 (in FDS or in the Playground). 
• In person: At 12:15, join us for coffee hour in the Meetinghouse Library.
• Via Zoom: Stay on the link for an after-Meeting chat at 12:15.

First Day School (FDS) is usually offered on the first and third Sunday of the month with adjustments for holidays. Check the weekly bulletin for updates to the schedule.

Youth care is available on non-holiday weekends for children over 5 years of age on non-First Day School Sundays (usually the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of a month) during Meeting for Worship. We seek a core group who could volunteer three or four times per year. Volunteers pair with a paid childcare provider to supervise play for a group either under 5 or 5+. This is an opportunity to get to know our wonderful children and support their parents during Worship. Crafts and game activities are provided. You can sign up via signup genius:

Childcare is available on non-holiday weekends from 10:45 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. for children under 5 years of age. Paid caregivers will provide this service.

Please note that all children must be signed in and signed out at the child care room by their parent or caregiver. For new and visiting families, parents will be asked to fill out a very short registration form. The BFM Youth Safety Policy requires that all young people (infant to 18 years old) must be supervised by a parent, teachers, or child care staff at all times.
