Learning more about Ramallah Friends School

Friends United Meeting invites all who have given to, visited, supported, or expressed interest in Ramallah Friends School, or who would like to learn more about its work and the future to an online event on Thursday, March 19, 2026  at  12:00 noon Eastern US

• The facilitator will be Rania Maayeh, Head of School. She will provide a thoughtful and direct update on the life of the school and the realities it is navigating at this time.

Located in the West Bank in Palestine, Ramallah Friends School serves over 1600 students in one of the most volatile regions of the world, where daily life is often shaped by uncertainty and stress. For more than 150 years, Quakers and other friends around the globe have supported the school through prayer, presence, and financial partnership. 

• During this online event, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the school’s current challenges and priorities, to pray for its students and staff, and to consider how you might continue or begin supporting this important work.
